6 Week Wheel Beginner Throwing Class

Ready to get your hands dirty and make some pottery? 

In 6 weeks you will learn the fundamentals of pottery from start to finish. Whether you are a beginner who has never touched clay or someone looking to brush up on their skills this class is perfect for you and will feature hands on instruction. This class mainly focuses on mugs and bowls. 

This class will be instructed by Meghan Angelis, owner of Salty Ceramics. It will be once a week for 2 hours for 6 weeks on the specific day you signed up for. The cost of this series is $225 per person and includes 25 pounds of clay. Additional clay will be available for purchase. This also includes use of shared community tools, glaze materials, and kiln firings. You'll also receive shelf space for storing your in-progress work. This class is for ages 13 and up. 

If you would like additional time in the studio, we have open studio times from 10am-4pm every day except Sunday for $4 an hour. 

All Sales are final. No refunds or transferring to other classes. If you miss a week you will not be refunded for that day but you are welcome to come to open studio time for $4 an hour. The last 2 classes of the sessions will be for finishing up your pieces and glazing. If you miss these classes you will need to sign up for a private session for an additional fee of $30. 

Please note: Some pieces will not make it through the firings. This happens in pottery and especially with beginners. Salty Ceramics is not liable for any broken or lost pieces. Make sure to sign everything.

Waiver:
In connection with my involvement in ceramic art classes and by booking at Salty Ceramics, I hereby release Salty Ceramics, its agents, representatives, successors, or assignees, including Salty Ceramics management and employees, from all liabilities, actions, claims, damages, demands, costs, and expenses which I am now or in the future have against them, arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in art classes, including enroute to or from the program or its related events.

I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss of injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties.
